T20 World Cup 2024 : South Africa thrash Afganistan to reach Final

South Africa thrashed Afghanistan and gave a good cricketing lesson. South Africa bundled out Afghanistan in just 11.5 overs for a small score of 56 runs. And then achieved the winning target of 57 runs in just 8.5 overs.
Afghanistan won the toss and selected to bat first. In their innings they could not bat for even 12 overs of their quota of 20 overs. They could score only 56 runs and thereby giving a winning target of 57 runs.
The largest contributer to their score was Extras which accounted for 13 runs. The lone Afgan batsman who was able to reach double digit score was Azmatullah Omarzai, who scored just 10 runs.
In response South Africa achieved the winning target in the 9th over itself at the loss of just one wicket.
