Asian Games: Shafali shines as Indian women enter semi-final, courtesy better ICC ranking

Shafali Verma bullied an inexperienced Malaysian attack with a sparkling 39-ball-67 as India entered the semi-final of the women's cricket event at the Asian Games by virtue of better ICC rankings after Thursday's quarter-final was abandoned due to rain.

The match was reduced to 15 over-a-side affair and India scored an imposing 173 for 2, courtesy Shafali, skipper Smriti Mandhana's 27 off 16 balls and Jemimah Rodrigues' 29-ball-47. Richa Ghosh's 7-ball-21 cameo was like a cherry on top of the cake.

It was going to be next to impossible for Malaysia to even think of surpassing 100-run mark let alone chase the target, which was revised to 177 as per DLS method.

Malaysia played only two deliveries before heavy rain played spoilsport and the match had to be called off.

India are top seeded Asian team in the competition as per their ICC ranking on June 1.

On a slow deck, Malaysia skipper Winifred Duraisingam elected to field and her team did let her down due to sloppy fielding as they dropped a few catches.

Malaysia's bowling didn't have enough sting to trouble the Indian batters.

The lack of pace in their deliveries forced Shafali to walk down the track in order to meet the ball early. Mandhana, at the other end, got some full-tosses which were dispatched to all corners of the ground.

Mandhana was dismissed after the opening pair got 59 within the Powerplay when she tried to pull a delivery, which was bowled slightly on the fuller side from spinner Mahira Izzati Ismail.

Shafali's innings had five sixes apart from four boundaries and mostly in the region between square leg and deep mid-wicket apart from a straight six that got her to a well-compiled half-century.

Rodrigues also looked in good touch as she got six boundaries and added 86 for the second wicket with Shafali.

Shafali was also hit on her right forearm when she couldn't evade a powerful bowler's back-drive by Rodrigues and needed an urgent taping.

India gave a strong and thrashing Cricketing Lesson to the Sri Lankan cricketers in final match of the Asia Cup 2023, cricket tournament.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. But their decision to bat first and then  put the opposition under pressure in their, backfired in a big way.

Batting first Sri Lankan batsmen could not find their feet, and failed miserably. They did not show even the intent and application needed from them. So, their whole team was bundled out for just a paltry score of 50 runs and that too in 16th over of their innings.

Five of the  Sri Lankan batsmen can not score even a single run. Their highest scorer Kusal Mendis could score only 17 runs. 

Indian bowlers did a splendid job in bowling out all the Sri Lankan batsmen for such a low score. Md. Siraj took 6 wickets while Hardik Pandya got 3 wickets and Bumrah got one wicket.

In reply the Indian team reached their wining target of 51 runs in 6.1 overs of their innings without losing any wicket.

Three militants were killed as security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officials said.

The operation was launched in the Hathlanga forward area in Uri sector of the north Kashmir district, the police officials said.

"In a Joint Operation launched by #IndianArmy, @JmuKmrPolice and Intelligence agencies, an infiltration bid was foiled today in the morning hours along LoC in Uri Sector, Baramulla," Army's Chinar Corps wrote in a post on X.

Three terrorists tried to infiltrate into the Indian side and were engaged by alert troops, it said.

While the bodies of two terrorists have been retrieved, firing from a Pakistani post in the vicinity is interfering with the retrieval of the third terrorist's body, it added.

The operation is in progress, the Army said.

The identities and group affiliation of the slain terrorists are yet to be ascertained, police said.

The infiltration bid and the subsequent encounter come at a time when an operation is underway in Anantnag district to neutralise terrorists who have taken positions in the forest area in a hilly terrain. The gunfight entered its fourth day on Saturday.

NEW DELHI: The Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Act, 2023 is set to take effect on October 1st, allowing the use of a 

birth certificate

 as a single document for various purposes such as admission to educational institutions, obtaining a driving license, voter list preparation, Aadhaar number registration, marriage registration, government job appointments, and other purposes determined by the central government.

The Act aims to establish a comprehensive national and state-level database of registered births and deaths, with the ultimate goal of improving the efficiency and transparency of public services and social benefits delivery through digital registration.

The announcement was made by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs in a notification issued on Wednesday. The notification stated, "In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Act, 2023 (20 of 2023), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of October 2023, as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force."

Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai led the bill's efforts to amend the 1969 Act. Both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha passed the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill 2023 during the Monsoon Session. While the Rajya Sabha approved the bill through a voice vote, the Lok Sabha passed it on 1st August.

Under this Act, the 

Registrar

 General of India is empowered to maintain a national database of registered births and deaths. Chief Registrars (appointed by states) and Registrars (appointed by states for local areas) are responsible for sharing birth and death data with the national database. Each state is also required to maintain a similar database at the state level.

Previously, certain individuals were required to report births and deaths to the Registrar. For example, the Act now mandates that, in cases of births, the specified individuals must also provide the Aadhaar numbers of the parents and the informant. This requirement extends to the jailor in the case of births in a prison and the manager of a hotel or lodge in cases of births occurring in such establishments.

Additionally, the Act expands the list of specified persons to include adoptive parents for non-institutional adoptions, biological parents for births through surrogacy, and the single parent or unwed mother in the case of a child's birth.

The new legislation stipulates that the national database may be shared with other authorities responsible for maintaining different databases, such as population registers, electoral rolls, ration card records, and other national databases as notified. Any use of the national database must be approved by the central government.

Similarly, state databases may be shared with authorities responsible for maintaining other state-level databases, subject to approval by the respective state governments.

The Act also establishes a mechanism for individuals to appeal against any action or order issued by the Registrar or District Registrar. Such appeals must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the action or order, and the District Registrar or Chief Registrar is required to provide their decision within 90 days of receiving the appeal.

भारत में जी-20 शिखर सम्मेलन के मंच से भारत-मध्य पूर्व-यूरोप कनेक्टिविटी कॉरिडोर की ऐतिहासिक घोषणा हुई है। इसमें भारत, अमेरिका, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात, सऊदी अरब, यूरोपीय संघ, फ्रांस, इटली, जर्मनी की भागीदारी होगी। जी-20 सम्मेलन में इस परियोजना की घोषणा चीन के लिए भी एक अहम संदेश है। 

यह कनेक्टिविटी और बुनियादी ढांचे पर सहयोग चीन से इतर अपनी तरह की एक बड़ी पहल है। अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडेन ने कहा कि यह वास्तव में एक बड़ी डील है। चीन इस परियोजना का विरोध करता रहा है।

यूरोपीय संघ के अध्यक्ष उर्सुला वॉन डेर लेयेन ने कहा कि यह भारत, मध्य पूर्व और यूरोप के बीच सबसे सीधा संबंध होगा। इससे यात्रा 40 प्रतिशत तेज हो जाएगी।

देश के विपक्षी दलों के गठबंधन ‘इंडिया’ की बैठक मुंबई में होने के उपरांत उसमें सम्मिलित कुछ दलों में सनातन धर्म को लक्ष्य करने की होड लगी हुई है । करोडों हिन्दुओं की श्रद्धा पर आघात कर देश की एकता, अखंडता तथा शांति को संकट में डाला जा रहा है । मंत्री और सांसद जैसे संवैधानिक पदों पर आसीन विभिन्न जिम्मेदार व्यक्तियों द्वारा इस प्रकार के वक्तव्य करना, लोकतंत्र की हार है । क्या इस प्रकार से इस्लाम, ईसाई आदि धर्माें के विषय में वक्तव्य करने का साहस इन राजनीतिक दलों में अथवा उनके नेताओं में है ? बार-बार भडकाऊ वक्तव्य कर हिन्दुओं को लक्ष्य करनेवाले इन कानून-द्रोही जनप्रतिनिधियों को केवल मंत्रिमंडल से नहीं, अपितु विधानसभा एवं संसद से भी हटा देना चाहिए । सामान्यतः हिन्दुओं के विरोध में तत्परता से ‘हेट स्पीच’ के अपराध प्रविष्ट करने के आदेश पुलिस को दिए जाते हैं; परंतु अनेक दिनों से अत्यंत निचले स्तर पर सनातन धर्म के विषय में वक्तव्य किए जा रहे हैं, तब भी न तो प्रशासन कोई कार्रवाई कर रहा है, न ही सर्वोच्च न्यायालय इस विषय में ‘सु मोटो’ संज्ञान ले रहा है, यह दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है ।

इस प्रकार से धार्मिक तनाव निर्माण करनेवाले नेताओं पर अपराध प्रविष्ट कर उन्हें दंड नहीं दिया गया, तो देश की शांति, एकता और अखंडता संकट में पड जाएगी । साथ ही देश में दंगे फैलाकर अराजकता निर्माण करने में ये आरोपी सफल हो जाएंगे । यदि ऐसा हुआ, तो इसके जिम्मेदार पुलिस तथा प्रशासन ही होंगे, ऐसा भी समिति ने कहा ।

मोरक्को में शुक्रवार देर रात आये विनाशकारी भूकंप में 1000 से ज्‍यादा लोगों की मौत हो गई। भूकंप की वजह से ऐतिहासिक मराकेश शहर से लेकर एटलस पर्वत पर स्थित गांवों तक कई इमारतें क्षतिग्रस्त हो गईं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी समेत कई देशों के नेताओं ने मोरक्को को मदद की पेशकश की है। मृतकों की संख्या बढ़ने की आशंका है क्योंकि बचाव कर्मी दूरदराज के प्रभावित इलाकों तक पहुंचने के लिए मशक्कत कर रहे हैं। घरों में सो रहे लोग भूकंप आने पर बाहर भागने लगे। सरकारी टेलीविजन पर प्रसारित फुटेज के दिख रहा है कि लोग देर रात मराकेश शहर की सड़कों पर हैं और इमारतों के अंदर वापस जाने से डर रहे हैं। इस भूकंप में 750 से ज्‍यादा लोग गंभीर रूप से जख्‍मी हैं।

मराकेश की छत भी क्षतिग्रस्‍त

एक व्यक्ति ने बताया कि वह पास के एक अपार्टमेंट में जा रहा था, तभी बर्तन और दीवार पर लटकी चीजें गिरने लगीं। एक महिला ने बताया कि ‘तीव्र कंपन’ महसूस करने के बाद वह अपने घर से बाहर निकल आई। एक बच्चे को गोद में लिए हुए एक व्यक्ति ने कहा कि वह भूकंप के झटके के कारण जाग गया। पीले रंग के जैकेट पहने आपात सेवा कर्मी इमारतों के मलबे में दबे जीवित लोगों की तलाश कर रहे थे। मोरक्को की मीडिया ने बताया कि मराकेश शहर के सबसे प्रसिद्ध स्थलों में से शामिल 12वीं सदी की कुतुबिया मस्जिद को नुकसान पहुंचा है, लेकिन यह अभी स्पष्ट नहीं हुआ है कि क्षति कितनी हुई है। इसकी 69 मीटर (226-फुट) मीनार को ‘मराकेश की छत’ के रूप में जाना जाता है।

मलबे में तब्‍दील हुईं इमारतें

मोरक्को वासियों ने सोशल मीडिया पर कई वीडियो साझा किए हैं, जिनमें इमारतें ढहकर मलबे में तब्दील हुई दिख रही हैं और चारों तरफ धूल नजर आ रही है। मराकेश के चारों ओर बनी प्रसिद्ध लाल दीवारों के कुछ हिस्से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए हैं। मराकेश यूनेस्को (संयुक्त राष्ट्र शैक्षिक, वैज्ञानिक एवं सांस्कृतिक संगठन) के विश्व धरोहर स्थलों की सूची में शामिल है। मोरक्को के गृह मंत्रालय ने शनिवार को बताया कि कम से कम 820 लोगों की मौत हुई है और इनमें से ज्यादातर मराकेश और भूकंप के केंद्र के पास के पांच प्रांतों से हैं।

बिजली सप्‍लाई ठप

भूकंप के केंद्र के पास स्थित एक शहर के प्रमुख ने मोरक्को की समाचार साइट ‘2एम’ को बताया कि निकटवर्ती शहरों के कई मकान आंशिक रूप से या पूरी तरह ढह गए हैं, कुछ स्थानों पर बिजली आपूर्ति ठप हो गई है और सड़क मार्ग अवरूद्ध हो गए हैं। तलत एन याकूब शहर के प्रमुख अब्दर्रहीम ऐत दाउद ने बताया कि प्राधिकारी प्रांत में सड़कों को साफ कर रहे हैं, ताकि एम्बुलेंस वहां से गुजर सके और प्रभावित आबादी को सहायता मुहैया कराई जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्वत पर स्थित गांवों के बीच अत्यधिक दूरी होने के कारण नुकसान का आकलन करने में समय लगेगा।

Birmingham, the second-largest city in Britain, announced its bankruptcy on Tuesday, shocking the city’s administration. According to the Guardian, the Labour-controlled administration of the second-largest city in the UK issued a 114 notice, stopping all but necessary spending and becoming the latest council to experience financial trouble.

When a council thinks its income won’t be enough to cover expenses, it issues a Section 114 notice. In the most recent years, Section 114 notifications have been issued in Thurrock, Croydon, Slough, and Northamptonshire.

The equal pay lawsuit is one of the main factors contributing to the city’s bankruptcy. The City Council lacks the resources to pay the $955 million in equal pay claims it owes to female public employees who were previously paid less than male counterparts. The council disclosed in June that it had paid out 1.1 billion pounds to female employees but continued to have a current liability of 650–750 million pounds, which was accruing at a pace of 5–14 million pounds per month.

The city currently anticipates an 87 million pound deficit for the fiscal year 2023–2024.

“The Council does not currently have any other means of covering this liability and does not have enough resources to cover the equal pay expenditure.” According to the notice, all new spending must halt right away with the exception of protecting vulnerable individuals and providing statutory services, the Birmingham City Council stated in a statement.

President Murmu confers National Teachers’ Award for 2023 on 75 teachers

President Droupadi Murmu conferred the National Teachers’ Award for the year 2023 to 75 selected awardees at a function in New Delhi on Tuesday. They include 50 School Teachers, 13 teachers from Higher education, and 12 teachers from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. From this year, the ambit of the National Teachers’ Award has been expanded to include teachers of the Department of Higher Education and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the President emphasised that encouraging female students and teachers is very important for women's empowerment. She also emphasised that in view of women's participation in the teaching profession, the number of female teachers receiving Teachers' awards should be higher. 

The President said that teachers build the future of the nation. She said, quality education is considered the fundamental right of every child, and the role of teachers is the most important in achieving these goals. President Murmu said, the importance of teachers as nation-builders has also been clearly stated in the National Education Policy 2020. She said, it is the duty of the teachers as well as the parents to recognize the unique abilities of each child and help the child to develop those abilities with sensitivity. 

The President said, every parent wants their child to be given special attention and treated with affection and parents hand over their children to teachers with great trust. She added that it is a great privilege for every teacher to get the opportunity to share love among 40-50 children in a class.

   

Every year, India celebrates 5th September, the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, as National Teachers’ Day.

The purpose of the National Teachers’ Award is to celebrate the unique contribution of teachers in the country and to honour those teachers who, through their commitment and dedication, have not only improved the quality of education but also enriched the lives of their students. Each award carries a certificate of merit, a cash award of 50 thousand rupees, and a silver medal.

1950 के दशक में दुनिया के 2 सबसे ताकतवर देशों के बीच एक और अजीब सी होड़ शुरू हुई थी और वो थी धरती के अंदर सर्वाधिक गहराई में जाने की. अमेरिका और सोवियत यूनियन के बीच इस होड़ में, रूस बाजी मार गया था.

कब और कैसे से शुरू हुई पूरी कहानी?

1950 का दशक था. द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध के ठीक बाद अमेरिका और सोवियत यूनियन के बीच कोल्ड वॉर का दौर शुरू हो चुका था. दोनों देशों के बीच सैन्य से लेकर अंतरिक्ष तक, लगभग हर मोर्चे पर होड़ मच गई. दोनों, खुद को एक-दूसरे से ज्यादा ताकतवर साबित करने का कोई मौका नहीं छोड़ रहे थे. इसी बीच अमेरिका और सोवियत यूनियन के बीच एक और प्रतिस्पर्धा शुरू हुई और वो थी धरती की सर्वाधिक गहराई में जाने की. दोनों देश देखना चाहते थे कि आखिर कौन धरती के अंदर सबसे ज्यादा गहराई में जा सकता है.

अमेरिका क्यों हट गया था पीछे?

अमेरिका (America) ने सबसे पहले अपने प्लान पर काम शुरू किया और प्रोजेक्ट को नाम दिया ”मोहोल” (Mohole). मैक्सिको के नजदीक ग्वाडलूप आइलैंड (Guadalupe Island) पर एक जगह चुनी और ड्रिलिंग भी शुरू कर दी. साल 1961 आते-आते 601 फिट तक ड्रिल भी कर दिया. लेकिन 1966 में अमेरिकी कांग्रेस ने बजट और मिसमैनेजमेंट का हवाला देते हुए इस प्रोजेक्ट की फंडिंग से इनकार कर दिया. जिसके बाद अमेरिका का प्रोजेक्ट वहीं लटक गया.

रूस ने कर दिया 12.26 किमी तक ड्रिल

उधर, सोवियत रूस अपने प्रोजेक्ट पर काम करता रहा. मरमंस्क प्रांत (Murmansk province) में फिनलैंड और नॉर्वे बॉर्डर पर कोला आइलैंड में ड्रिलिंग के लिए जगह चुनी. यह जगह आर्कटिक सर्किल के करीब थी. प्रोजेक्ट को नाम मिला ‘कोला सुपर डीप बोरहोल’ (Kola Superdeep Borehole). मई 1970 में ड्रिलिंग शुरू की और साल 1989 आते-आते 12.26 किलोमीटर (40,230 फिट) तक ड्रिल कर दिया. हालांकि यह धरती की कुल गहराई का 2% से भी कम था, लेकिन इतनी गहराई में तापमान 180 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक पहुंच गया.

लेकिन 1989 में शुरू हुई असली मुसीबत

असली मुसीबत इसके बाद शुरू हुई. वैज्ञानिकों ने और ड्रिल करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन ड्रिलिंग मशीन और दूसरे उपकरण इतने तापमान को झेल ही नहीं पा रहे थे. इतने तापमान में नीचे की चट्टानें एक तरीके से प्लास्टिक जैसा व्यवहार करने लगी थीं. हालांकि सोवियत यूनियन, साल 1992 तक कोशिश करता रहा. उसकी इच्छा कम से कम 15 किलोमीटर तक ड्रिल करने की थी, लेकिन 1989 की गहराई से जरा भी आगे नहीं बढ़ पाया. earthdate.org की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक इसी बीच सोवियत यूनियन का पतन हुआ और पैसों की कमी रोड़ा बन गई. आखिरकार खुदाई रोकनी पड़ी.

चीखती-चिल्लाती आवाजें और ‘नर्क का द्वार’…

कोला सुपर डीप बोरहोल से जुड़ा एक मिथक भी खासा चर्चित है. ऐसा कहा जाता है जब सोवियत रूस 40,230 फिट यानी 12.26 किलोमीटर से आगे ड्रिल करने की कोशिश कर रहा था, उसी वक्त गड्ढे के अंदर एक चैंबर टूट गया और अंदर से भयानक चीखने-चिल्लाने जैसी आवाजें सुनी गईं. हालांकि इसकी कभी पुष्टि नहीं हो पाई, लेकिन इसी के बाद कोला सुपर डीप बोरहोल को ‘नर्क का द्वार’ कहा जाने लगा और दावा किया गया कि इन आवाजों के चलते ही रूस ने खुदाई बंद कर दी थी.

अब वहां क्या हो रहा है?

फिलहाल ‘कोला सुपर डीप बोरहोल’ (Kola Superdeep Borehole). को पूरी तरह सील कर दिया गया है. साल 2005 तक यहां एक रिसर्च स्टेशन हुआ करता था, लेकिन अब ये जगह पूरी तरह वीरान पड़ी है. हां, गाहे-बगाहे वैज्ञानिक यहां जाते रहते हैं. साथ ही भू-विज्ञान में दिलचस्पी रखने वाले पर्यटकों के बीच भी ये जगह खासी लोकप्रिय है.

रूस को खुदाई से क्या हासिल हुआ?

सोवियत रूस भले ही 15 किलोमीटर की गहराई तक नहीं पहुंच पाया, लेकिन उसका प्रोजेक्ट कई मायनों में अहम और सफल रहा था. पूरी ड्रिलिंग के दौरान, गड्ढे से हाइड्रोजन, हीलियम, नाइट्रोजन और कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड जैसी गैस बाहर निकलती रहीं। लेकिन सबसे ज्यादा चौंकाने वाली और साइंटिफिक नजरिये से अहम चीज 22,000 फीट (6.7 किमी) की गहराई पर मिली.

वो थी 2 अरब वर्ष पुराने सूक्ष्म जीवाश्मों की 24 प्रजातियां. ये सूक्ष्म जीवाश्म (Microfossils) ऑर्गेनिक कार्बन और नाइट्रोजन कंपाउंड में लिपटे थे. वैज्ञानिकों के मुताबिक इसी के चलते ये इतनी गहराई में भी सुरक्षित रहे और तापमान बर्दाश्त कर पाए.

आज भी जारी है होड़

सोवियत रूस के बाद भी कई देश धरती की गहराई में जाने की कोशिश करते रहे और ड्रिल भी किया, लेकिन Kola Superdeep Borehole से ज्यादा गहराई में नहीं जा पाए. मसलन, जर्मनी के बावारिया में जर्मन कॉन्टिनेंटल डीप ड्रिलिंग प्रोग्राम ( German Continental Deep Drilling Program) के तहत 29,859 फिट यानी 9.1 किलोमीटर तक खुदाई हुई. इस गहराई तक आते-आते तापमान 260°C तक पहुंच गया और खुदाई रोकनी पड़ी थी. इसके अलावा कतर और रूस में कई तेल के कुओं की 10.7 किमी तक खुदाई हुई है, लेकिन कोला सुपर डीप होल को कोई पीछे नहीं छोड़ पाया है.

भा.रा. ब्राह्मण महासभा के कौटिल्य मंच से जुड़ें प्रबुद्ध लोगों ने तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम.के. स्टालिन के मंत्री पुत्र उदय निधि स्टालिन द्वारा सनातन धर्म के विषय में यह कहना कि यह डेंगू और कोरोना जैसी बीमारी है, इसे समाप्त करना होगा, गंभीरता से लिया है। एक बयान जारी कर इसे दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण, निंदनीय और चिंतित करने वाला घोर आपत्तिजनक एवं जानबूझकर हिंदुओं के श्रद्धा एवं आस्था पर चोट पहुंचाने वाला बयान कहा है।

मंच एवं महासभा के संरक्षक जाने-माने साहित्यकार आचार्य राधा मोहन मिश्रा माधव ने कहा है कि मानव जीवन की चेतना का प्रथम उद्घोषक सनातन वैदिक धर्म ही है। संरक्षक एवं ऑल इंडिया जूलॉजी साइंस कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष डॉ बी एन पांडे ने कहा कि सनातन भारतीय संस्कृति की ध्वजवाहक है इससे हर भारतीय की आस्था जुड़ी है। संरक्षक एवं मगध विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व विभागाध्यक्ष रहे जाने-माने शिक्षाविद प्रो. उमेशचंद्र मिश्र शिव ने कहा कि आज अधिकांश राजनीतिक दलों में धर्मविरोधी आचरण है, इनमें रचनात्मक राजनीति का घोर अभाव दिखता है। यही कारण है कि ऐसे बयान प्रायः आते रहते हैं जो उचित नहीं है।

ख्यातिप्राप्त साहित्यकार, कवि तथा राम लखन सिंह यादव कॉलेज के पूर्व प्राचार्य डॉक्टर राम सिंह ने कहा कि सनातन संस्कृति विश्व मानवता की अमूल्य निधि है, ज्ञान का प्रथम प्रकाश देने वाले सनातन का विरोध करने वाले अज्ञानी ही कहे जाएंगे।

विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों से जुड़े भारतीय राष्ट्रीय ब्राह्मण महासभा एवं कौटिल्य मंच के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष डॉ विवेकानंद मिश्र ने स्टालिन के बयान को हास्यास्पद ही नहीं शरारत पूर्ण भी बताया है। सिद्धनाथ मिश्रा महासभा एवं मंच के प्रदेश सचिव किरण पाठक, प्रियंका मिश्रा रुक्मिणी पाठक ने कहा कि ऐसे तमाम सनातन विरोधियों का सामाजिक बहिष्कार करना ही एकमात्र उपाय है।

आचार्य नारायण पाठक शिवचरण डालमिया स्वामी सत्यानंद गिरी देवेंद्र मनोज पाठक पंडित बालमुकुंद मिश्र गजाधर लाल पाठक ज्ञानेश भारद्वाज ने कहा कि विगत कुछ वर्षों से सनातन धर्म विरोधियों द्वारा सुनियोजित सनातन विरोधी मुहिम चलाया जा रहा है जो राष्ट्र समाज एवं मानवता के लिए अशुभ संकेत है।

भारत ने पाकिस्तान को हराकर 5एस एशिया कप पुरुष हॉकी टूर्नामेंट का खिताब जीता

 

भारत ने पाकिस्तान को हराकर  "5एस एशिया"  कप पुरुष हॉकी टूर्नामेंट का खिताब जीता

ओमान के सलालाह में फाइव-एस पुरूष हॉकी एशिया कप के फाइनल में भारत ने पाकिस्तान को पैनल्टी शूटआउट में हराकर खिताब जीत लिया है। इसके साथ ही भारतीय टीम ने अगले वर्ष ओमान में होने वाले एफआईएच फाइव-एस पुरूष हॉकी विश्व कप के लिए भी क्वालीफाई कर लिया है।

 हॉकी के फाइव-एस संस्करण में भारत ने तीन मुकाबलों में पहली बार पाकिस्तान को हराया है। शूट आउट में पाकिस्तान कोई गोल नहीं कर सका जबकि भारत की ओर से मनिन्दर सिंह ने गोल दागा। हॉकी इंडिया ने टीम के प्रत्येक खिलाड़ी को दो लाख और सहयोगी स्टाफ को एक लाख रुपये पुरस्कार देने की घोषणा की है। हॉकी इंडिया के अध्यक्ष दिलीप टिरकी ने भारतीय टीम को शुभकामनाएं दी हैं।

भारत ने पुरुष एशिया हॉकी 5एस विश्व कप क्वालीफायर मुकाबले में बांग्लादेश को एक के मुकाबले 15 गोल से हरा दिया। 

कल ओमान के सलालेह में भारत के मनिन्दर सिंह ने सबसे अधिक 4 गोल किए। मोहम्मद रहील ने तीन गोल दागे जबकि सुखविंदर, गुरजोत सिंह और पवन राजभर ने दो-दो तथा मनदीप मोर और दिपसांग तिर्की ने एक-एक गोल किए।

भारत महिला एशिया हॉकी 5एस विश्व कप क्वालीफायर पहले ही जीत चुका है। भारत ने टूर्नामेंट के फाइनल में थाईलैंड को दो के मुकाबले सात गोल से हराया था।
