Two new Patna High Court judges take Oath
PATNA : The two newly appointed judges assumed their office after swearing-in ceremony , before the Chief Justice of Patna H
igh Court on Tuesday.
Mr. Justice Rajiv Roy
and Mr.Justice Harish Kumar
took oath in the new Centenary building of the Patna high court at 10am.
The new judges, thereafter, sat in the division benches. The strength of Patna high court bench has now increased to 29, but it is still short by 24 as the total sanctioned strength is 53.
Three high court judges are to retire this year. The Patna high court is facing the pressure of more than 1.4 lakh cases at present. TNN
