Maharashtra Cabinet Clears Free Covid-19 Vaccines for All Citizens Between 18 and 44 Years



    The Maharashtra government announced on Wednesday it will administer vaccine doses against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) for free to all its citizens between the ages of 18 and 44 in the third phase of the vaccination drive from May 1. The decision was taken in the state's cabinet.
          "Today, the Cabinet under the leadership of CM Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray has decided to provide free Covid-19 vaccination to all the citizens of Maharashtra aged between 18-44 years," chief minister Uddhav Thackeray's office (CMO) tweeted.

Detailed vaccination program will be announced by the state's health department and doses will only be administered through the CoWin app, the CMO said adding people should not rush to the vaccination centres.
